About this blog:  I've been asked over the years by friends, family, business associates: Why write the blog? How long does it  take to write a blog post? Is it good for business? and various similar questions.

I will attempt to answer most of these questions here.  The blog is written for personal & business reasons, a mix 70% business, 30% personal.  I believe, in general, the blog has been good for both business & personal use. It usually takes 1-2 sittings and about an estimated 35-45 minutes to research & write one good blog post of ~ 250 words (including finding a good graphic).

People who read it will have a better understanding, from an experienced entrepreneur point of view, what works and what doesn't work in a startup, as well as what it took to succeed in business and eventually what it takes to sell a company.  

In addition, readers will find tips on:

• managing daily life at work
• having a healthy life-work balance
• managing various business functions
• correcting gaps in education & management experience
• becoming socially responsible & taking action to reduce your carbon footprint
